Guidance for digital Performance Grades

Everyone involved should read this guidance before recording and submitting an exam.

We also have a short film you can watch.

Performance Grade candidates must have accompaniment when performing set pieces that are published with an accompaniment or duet part, unless the syllabus says otherwise.

Recorded accompaniment is now a permanent option for Performance Grades alongside live accompaniment. Candidates can choose to perform with live or recorded accompaniment or a mix of both.

Candidates must show a completed programme form to the camera at the start of their exam recording. This should include details of the exam pieces or songs in performance order.

You can find blank forms to print below or you can use a piece of paper. Additional information about completing the form is available in our Guidance for Digital Performance Grades (above).
