Refunds

  • Up to six weeks prior to the event: 100% refund
  • Less than six weeks in advance but up to 15 days prior to the event: 50% refund
  • No refunds made for cancellations less than 15 days prior to the event
  • No refunds for people who book but don't attend

Transfers

Transfers of bookings to a replacement delegate are possible but must be received in writing five working days before the event.

Refunds may be given in cases where medical reasons or personal circumstances force cancellation. In all such instances, applications must be given in writing and are all at the discretion of ABRSM.

Timescale

Refunds are processed as the request is received or shortly following the event, and may take up to 30 days to come through.

If ABRSM is forced to cancel an event for any reason, we'll give delegates as much notice as possible and provide a full refund of the delegate fee paid. Refunds will be made to the card used for payment, or by cheque if this was the payment method used. Unfortunately, we can't reimburse any other costs that delegates may incur privately relating to the event, such as transport or accommodation.
