Join our new community panel and help shape the future!

Through a mix of online polls and surveys, you’ll have the chance to tell us what you think about a range of topics.

From influencing the development of our exams, apps, books and events, to sharing your views about teaching and everything in between – this is an exciting chance to have your say!

How do I sign up?

There are three stages to the sign up process. This is to make sure the panel reflects the wonderfully varied roles of music teachers across the UK.

Step 1

To apply to join the panel, register your name and email using the form on this page.

Step 2

Once you’ve registered, we will send you a short survey to find out more about you and your teaching.

Step 3

If you are selected, we will invite you to join the panel.

Teacher Voices

What happens if I’m selected?

Once you’re on the panel we’ll send you a series of polls and surveys about our exams, products and services, and about music teaching more generally. We’ll do this by email, with a link to take part online.

Don’t worry, we won’t bombard you - we’ll never send you more than one email per week. It’s likely you’ll receive:

  • One poll per week (maximum)
  • Up to four 5 minute surveys per year
  • Up to four 10 minute surveys per year

Protecting your information is important to us

Your email will not be used for anything else outside of the panels, unless you wish to opt in to regular ABRSM communications.

Don’t want to take part anymore?

You can opt out of the panel at any time. It’s very easy - just log in to the panel and update your settings.

You can also tell us that you no longer want to take part by emailing us at research@abrsm.ac.uk.

Why wasn’t I selected?

iGenThe most likely reason is that we already have enough teachers for the panel.

If you aren’t selected straight away, we will keep your details on our register. We will always be looking for new participants and will be in touch if a vacancy comes up.
